Fair Agenda ~ a new advocacy platform for a fair and equal future for women

Exciting news everyone – Fair Agenda is about to be launched. It’s going to be like the ‘GetUp’ equivalent for the women’s movement. Wooo!

Fair Agenda will be an independent community advocacy organisation working to bring about a fair and equal future for Australian women. We know Australians believe in a fair go, and so we’ll work to help people take action in moments when fair has fallen off the agenda.

The team behind Fair Agenda includes some of Australia’s best digital campaigners. We’re working to leverage the power of the tools proven by groups like change.org and GetUp! to drive change around issues affecting women.

In my opinion, it’s going to be a crucial piece of infrastructure for the women’s movement – and the social justice movement in Australia more widely. It will be an important platform for keeping women’s issues on the agenda (especially with our fabulous Federal Minister for Women) as well as *hopefully* helping to more cloesly connect women’s organisations with each other.

They’re working hard to get Fair Agenda off the ground as soon as possible, but they need your help (and your dollars!). In order to launch Fair Agenda, they need to raise $20,000.

Read the pitch here, and select your donation (with perks!). Come on feminausts, we can make this happen.
