Two-day job fair in Henderson June 14-15

If you or someone you know is looking to re-enter the workforce, or maybe you’ve been in the same position for a long time and are ready to see what else is out there, the Henderson Economic Development Workforce Coalition gives you the opportunity to explore a variety of options in the Henderson area during a two-day job fair at the Henderson County Public Library.

The fair will take place on Tuesday, June 14 from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday, June 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. 37 employers are confirmed on site on both days, ready to chat with you about the variety of positions available, including pre-entry level, entry level, experience, experience with education and management. Companies expected to participate span a wide range of industries and include Accuride, Deaconess, Henderson County Schools, Hydro Aluminum, SITEX, Tyson Foods, Wabash Plastics, and more.

Several of the available job openings are posted on the Henderson Economic Development Workforce Coalition website and more are expected to be added as the event draws closer. It would definitely be worth browsing through the jobs on offer, that way you can know which position you’d like to try and land and do a bit of research in order to head straight for them at the job fair and wow them with your knowledge of the position and the company.
