Wema Bank Plc employees said they are building a pool of funds for the empowerment of disadvantaged women to expand their scope of activity under the auspices of “Project Ferry”.

He said in a statement Monday titled “Wema Bank Employees Empower Underprivileged Women Traders in Ferry Community” that this was part of his corporate social investment initiative.

“Through the Pay for Love initiative, employees of the Lagos Region Bank led by the project champions have selected 47 disadvantaged women from the ferry community of Oworoshoki, Lagos, for the provision of funds for the project. ‘priming,’ he said.

Also speaking at the event, the head of the retail segment of the bank, Mr. Mudashiru Hakeem, described the bank and its employees as good corporate citizens who rejoice in the well-being and success of people in their lives. host communities.
